About Vela Creator
Connecting Chinese brands with foreign creators in China
Vela Creator connects Chinese brands and cross-border sellers with foreign creators and models living in China for sample UGC, on-site shoots, product demos, and real content production.
We started in 2026 and the platform is still in private beta. Everything here is real progress — no invented stats, case studies, or team names.
What Vela is
Vela Creator did not start as a platform concept designed in isolation. It started from a two-sided need that kept repeating in cross-border work. For years we connected brands and creators by hand, and in those real collaborations we saw the same friction: scattered resources, unclear rates, ad-hoc group chats, missing delivery records, and repeat work that was hard to build on.
So in 2026 we began turning that experience into Vela Creator: a platform where brand briefs, creator profiles, message history, and collaboration trust can live in one place.
The two-sided problem we solve
The brand side
Chinese brands, cross-border sellers, and export teams need real foreign creator content: unboxing, trials, talking-head clips, product demos, ecommerce-page assets, social content, and on-site shoots. Finding people, getting transparent quotes, and keeping delivery records are daily pain points.
The creator side
Foreign creators living in China have camera presence, language skills, and availability. They want clearer, steadier, more trustworthy brand work — not one-off DMs that disappear.
How it works
- 1
Separate the modes
We split foreign-content needs into sample UGC and on-site shoots, each with its own budget, difficulty, and delivery expectations, so brands pick the right workflow upfront.
- 2
Structure real profiles
A creator's city, languages, content style, service type, and rate range stay on the platform, so brands judge more than photos and tags.
- 3
Keep the record
Briefs, messages, delivery, usage rights, fee confirmation, and repeat performance build up over time, so both sides decide from clear information.
How fees work
Creators set a base rate. The brand pays the base rate plus a 20% platform service fee; a 20% platform fee is deducted from the creator payout. Creators have no membership, subscription, or listing fees. Fees are fixed and disclosed upfront.
